Money or mammon is a symbol of self interest. We cannot have two masters - Jesus and self because we will always go for the latter. Take no risks. Say, 'Jesus, all I am and ever hope to be I lay at your feet.'

Right now many of the christian poor are those who have been robbed through self-interest of their inheritence in the Holy Spirit. Can you say, 'Not guilty, your Honour?'

The key issue is: DO YOU BELONG TOTALLY TO THE LORD?
That is do you belong to Jesus or do you belong to you? Is His flock a means for your own advancement or His?If you claim to belong to Jesus but hold a portion of yourself back,or if your obedience is partial because full obedience to His
Word in matters such as the baptism of the Spirit is an inconvenience
to your denominational career, you actually belong to self, no
matter what you tell yourself or others.
As a result you will be sincerely deluded and deluded about your sincerity.
The best that ca happen is that as a blind guide you will deceive yourself
enough simply to render yourself ineffective and not wreck too many lives or
hold too many saints in bondage or wear them out in mistaken evangelism..
The worst thing is that you might suffer the fate of Annanias and Saphira.
