Anne rang me from Te Amutu. She had been in pain for nine years and asked if I could pray for her. I prayed for each knee separately and the pain went. Then I prayed or her lower back and the pain began to leave. In an email dates Sep 24, 2002 Anne later wrote: Thank you for your prayers. I woke up this morning a different person. I have my old optimism back and the pain I had in my back for the most part is gone. In an email dates Dec 16, 2002 she wrote: We went to Tauranga last week and the GP was very surprised how much improved my brain is working, that I has no physical pain and that I was walking much better.

I went to see Tom for prayer for a sore knee which I had hurt when I tripped about a month before seeing Tom. During that time I could only walk with crutches and sleeping was difficult. Tom and some other prayed for me and over about 15 minutes the pain lessened and I no longer needed the crutches to walk with. A little pain remained but it is much better to this day.

I had limited hearing in my right ear. This was because I had a hole in my ear drum since I was about five. Tom put his hand on my ear and prayed. When he took his hand away I could hear a lot better - just as good as my left. Before the prayer my hearing in that ear was dull.

I had neck and shoulder pain due to stress at work. The pain started at home in Bombay two years ago and got worse in New Zealand. Work became difficult due to the ongoing pain. Five weeks ago Tom and Mark prayed for my pain. After the prayers I found that the pain lessened by about 50% and this remains so to this day. (19 4 03)
